The Farmville, VA Chapter 1202 Young Eagles event is held on the second Saturday in October and May every year.  Kids and their parents should plan to arrive at 10:00 a.m. for breakfast, followed by the usual paperwork, and then it's off to the wild blue!  Hope to see you there.

Young Eagles

The Young Eagles program was started by the EAA in 1992 to give children between the ages of 8 and 17 the opportunity to experience flight in a general aviation aircraft while educating them about aviation.  To date, the Young Eagles program has flown more than 1.5 million children in 90 countries.  The program is free of charge and is funded by donations and volunteers.
